In collaboration with the private enterprise, this project aimed to develop a process to assess the volume extracted in a quarry or sand pit using three-dimensional correlation from aerial images.

Thanks to this project, the team was able to validate the technology and Nippour was able to add this service to its portfolio. The team demonstrated that it is possible to use this technique to calculate volume.
