Description

This goal of this research project was to improve the knowledge of river flow rates, specifically ungauged rivers. The CGQ contributed cartography and wetlands characterization with satellite remote sensing data. This information was then integrated into the existing hydrological models. Wetlands play an important role in flow regularization. With a constantly changing climate, it is all the more important to better understand these environments’ hydrological processes and to develop methods for their monitoring and to improve their modelling.
